Assessment & Diagnosis
Jaquie’s team offers diagnostic and assessment services for children aged 2-17 years.
This includes assessment for:
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Intellectual Disabilities
- Anxiety and Mood Disorders
- Learning Disorders
- Oppositional Defiant Disorder or behavioural disorders.
What to Expect:
Assessments typically take 3-6 hours depending on the nature of assessment. Parents are not typically present for the entire assessment due to standardization procedures, but will be present at the beginning for intake and interviews. Session lengths are sometimes broken up over 2 days depending on the length of the assessment. This is to ensure that the most accurate picture of your child’s abilities is obtained
Current rates for all psychology services are $220 per hour with a total hours for assessment being billed out between 7 and 11 hours. This includes assessment hours, scoring, interpretation, report writing and a feedback session
Disability tax credits can be filled out by the clinician if applicable
