Jaquie is a trained Circle of Security facilitator.
The Circle of Security is an early intervention model that focuses on facilitating attachment and security in children and families. This is a parent training model that is an excellent fit for families at risk for violence and abuse, neglect, addictions, and those who feel they need skill development as parents or want to enhance their relationship with their child. This service is offered on an as needed basis provided there are enough families interested. There is also a parent training book available called Raising a Secure Child: How Circle of Security Parenting Can Help You Nurture Your Child’s Attachment, Emotional Resilience, and Freedom to Explore by Kent Hoffman, Glen Cooper and Bert Powell.
